About Me

I am interested in exploring a variety of materials, both traditional and non-traditional. My present method of working - placing the media (scraps, beads, strings, etc.) in combination with acrylic paints and various medium on a substrate, and allowing it to inform me as to the direction the art work wants to go - giving up some control is liberating, challenging and exhilarating for me. - Janet Mishner
